Said to have been given to mankind as a boon during the event of "Saagar
Manthan" or the churning of the great ocean. It was given the status of
"divya aushadhi" or a "holy plant" by the ancient sages who left us the
texts on medicine and healing. It is a zero waste plant, every part of
it is useful.
