Himalayan Stinging Nettle

Urtica dioica or stinging nettle is a plant locally known as "Kandali" or "Bichhu Ghaas".

It has been used as a folk remedy for a number of ailments, for generations.

Fresh leaves are cooked and made into a dish which is traditionally called "saag". It makes for one hell of a refreshing brew of (green) tea, with a very mild sweet after taste.

Full of nutrients and trace elements, this plant is a natural diuretic and hence detoxifies the system. It is also known for the following properties/benefits:
